The official website of the Russia House in Davos (houserussia.com) has posted the architecture of the event’s business programme. The Russia House will be open on 20–24 January 2020 in Davos, Switzerland and will continue the annual tradition of international meetings and partnership dialogues on key economic, cultural, scientific, and technical cooperation.
“Each year, the business programme of the Russia House is assembled based on the international economic agenda. This year there will be a special emphasis on modern digital technologies, the development of the banking sector, and the social sector. Next year, the Russia House will continue its work as a platform that aims to foster a dialogue between business circles, demonstrate Russia’s openness to cooperation, and also promote Russian culture in the international arena”, Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.
The Russia House’s business programme in 2020 will include sessions on cybersecurity, cryptoeconomics as well as current ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. Per tradition, members of the Foreign Investment Advisory Council in Russia will hold a meeting at the Russia House.
In 2020, the Russian residence will host joint events of the Roscongress Foundation and the World Economic Forum for the first time. The sessions will be devoted to cooperation between Russia and European countries and the development of artificial intelligence and quantum technologies.
“The Russia House project was originally conceived as a multi-format space whose status and technical capabilities allow its guests to hold events of any level and format. With its status as the official Russian residence, the Russia House has established itself as one of the most important and bright spots in Davos with its exclusive business and cultural programmes”, Roscongress Foundation CEO and Chairman of the Board Alexander Stuglev said.
